You are never sure what Mother Nature is going to do in spring time in the northwest. When Liz called me about her April 2nd wedding I assumed we would be doing a lot of photos in doors. Liz and Ben had booked the beautiful White House in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho so I knew we’d have a great location. When April 2nd rolled around I was breaking out my dress and light cardigan! The weather was perfect! The sun was so bright that day that I went in search of even lighting and a good background. The photos ran smoothly, everyone was super nice, and I was happy to have been a part of Liz and Ben’s big day. They were pretty much strangers to me, but bearing witness to the nuptials (which included Ben and Liz giving Ben’s daughter Jane a beautiful necklace) left me feeling like I knew Liz and Ben longer than just a day. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when Liz and Ben put Jane’s necklace on, and that moment was only matched by the toasts and special dances. It was a wedding full of meaning and I want to congratulate Liz and Ben on a beautiful day. Thank you for letting me be a part of it. I hope you look through these images and recall all the wonderful moments of your wedding day. Cheers! xoxo, Emma
